Our Mission and Guiding Principles.

Four-fold aspects of Grace Church

Kingdom Oriented

‘…Seeking the greater good’ Matt 6:33

‘I want to see the world governed by men who are governed by God; in fact, why not just let God run the world?’ (Frank Buchmann)

We at Grace Church are committed to living our lives in accordance with the principles that Jesus taught. We also seek to promote wherever we can this Kingdom way as a model for living, working and relating within our communities and across society as a whole.

Gospel Driven

‘..promoting the Christian Way’. Mark 16:15

We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the key to spiritual and moral recovery and lasting change in the lives of individuals and societies. To that end we teach and promote regeneration through faith in Christ rather than reformation through self effort as the means of producing that essential inner change that revolutionises the life.

Functioning as a Body

‘..everyone playing their part’. Eph. 4:16

We believe that every true Christian is vitally joined to Christ. They are part of His body. He is the head and He controls the actions and interactions of every member. At Grace Church we recognise each other in this way. We each have different functions and roles and we know that we have to grow and become proficient in fulfilling them but we strive to work together as a body works under the guidance and control of Christ who is our head.

Growing through Discipleship

‘Learning and living THE LIFE..’ John 15:8

We recognise that the key to our growth whether in numbers or in maturity or in relationship or in service is to be disciples of Jesus. That is, to learn to be like Him in His character and in His actions. We learn Christ not just by hearing what He says but by doing what He says.
